What is Invisalign?
Invisalign is a revolutionary method to straighten your teeth without braces, using a series of clear, removable, comfortable, aligners that are custom-modeled to fit your teeth. The Invisalign system has been successful in giving hundreds of thousands of amazing smiles to both teens and adults. We will create your individual treatment plan using Invisalign´s clear, custom-molded aligners to solve a range of issues, including: crowded teeth, spaced teeth, overbites, underbites, and crossbites.

Why Invisalign Treament?
Optimum Aesthetics: One of the most obvious benefits of the Invisalign system is simply the aesthetics. With the Invisalign clear aligners, your orthodontic process will be virtually invisible to those around you. This benefit makes Invisalign a seamless fit with your lifestyle and day-to-day interactions with others.
Removeable: Since Invisalign aligners are removeable, you have the flexibility to eat and drink what you want during treatment. Orthodontic alignment with braces that are attached to your teeth, you need to avoid certain hard, crunchy, and sticky foods. With Invisalign, you can remove your aligner trays when you eat, so you can still enjoy the foods that you would otherwise need to avoid. You can also remove the aligners to brush and floss as you normally would for optimal oral hygiene.
Comfortable: Another reason that Invisalign is a top choice for patients today is that it is very comfortable. Aligners made from SmartTrack material are comfortable, fit well, and are easy to put on and take off. The plastic trays are hard enough to apply pressure on your teeth but are flexible so that it fits comfortably in your mouth. In addition, you’ll spend less time our office and more time out doing the things you love.

Preview your treatment Lastly, Invisalign also allows you to see your final results before you even begin treatment thanks to the advanced technology of the iTero Element 3D scanner. Invisalign allows you to view your virtual results and treatment plan before you start your treatment, so that you can preview how your straight teeth will look once your treatment is complete. Seeing what your teeth will look like after the entire treatment is definitely exciting, and it might just be the thing that makes you choose Invisalign over traditional braces!
How does Invisalign work?
You wear each set of aligners for one to two weeks, removing them only to eat, drink, brush, and floss. As you replace each aligner with the next in the series, your teeth will move — little by little, week by week — until they have straightened to their final positions.
Time Efficient
With Invisalign treatment, less appointments at our office will be required, and generally your appointment time should be shorter. On average with Invisalign treatment at Beetham Family & Cosmetic Dentistry, progress appointments are necessary at 8 weeks intervals. These periodical visits are quick and easy since there are no brackets or wires that would need adjusting. Each visit, we will evaluate your bite to ensure that your teeth are moving on track.
How long is Invisalign worn?
The length of Invisalign treatment will vary and depend on each patient. Typically, aligners are worn 20 to 22 hours a day(take them out only to eat, brush, and floss) for 4-12 months. The number of aligners worn during treatment is between 12 and 30, but they will vary from case to case depending on the treatment plan.
At your consultation appointment, we will let you know how long your treatment will take before you decide to get started.
How many patients are being treated with Invisalign?
More than 1,000,000 patients worldwide have been treated with Invisalign. The number of Invisalign smiles grows daily. At your next appointment, we can help answer any questions you might have, and get you started on the smile you’ve always wanted.
